The White Pavilion-

at each end 50x16
- One fresh water sink
- work tables with drawers
- Gas free standing fire pit (great for marshmallows)
- Large three burner gas stainless steel grill
- Single shower stall for changing if you want
to get more comfortable or if you are so
inclined to swim in our pond or ride the zip
line in the water you may want to get a swimsuit
on first :)
- Bar for eating/serving catered food.
- Electrical outlets
- Can be used as a stage for outdoor covered
reception, meetings or music or all at once!
The Pink Block Milk house-
- Outside a rustic milk house made of
traditional "pink" cinderblock material and
cedar trim. Inside a refined building for formal
or casual dining and entertainment. The
interior space is finished in white with large
use of crown molding. We have a separate
ready room inside for the bride. Complete
with a mini food prep area for caterers and
restroom. A hand washing sink in the main
room makes it easy to wash up right in line for
food. Outside is a large deck for seating guest
for dinners and entertaining. Notice the
composite deck flooring of many colors, just
like the farmers of old we made do with what we
had!
The Grey Cinderblock Slaughterhouse-
- (you still can see the gallows
where many a pig lost it's life) Good spot for storytelling at
Halloween or a men's "ready room" before a wedding.
The White Shed-
- A great place to hang out on the rockers and
play checkers while relaxing during an event.
A basketball goal is just outside for a game of P.I.G. This is also our area for fishin'
supplies. If you need a rod and reel you
will find it all there.
The White Barn-
- This building is with the chickens, literally. Notice how
the old corn crib became a chicken house. Enjoy, but don't
fight over the 2 cedar trees leaned together for a comfortable
hammock spot. A great place for kids to play and pet our laying
hens. (eggs sold separately 2.00/dozen- country brown and farm
fresh daily)
The Country Beach/Dock-
- Well some won't believe it but we offer a venue for Tennessee
beach weddings. The dock has 2 30 amp circuits and lighting
great for a band or for the ceremony itself. Take your shoes
off and enjoy!
The White Stage-
- This is where the smooching or the rocking happens. It is
a great place to get married or to enjoy a show. This Stage
has lights and electrical outlets and a beautiful garden all around.
This spot has a great view of the farm as well and makes a GREAT
destination for the horse and carriage to deliver the bride on her
wedding day next to the water.
Swings-
- As a child I remember competing with other
grandchildren for the swing on the front porch of my
grandmothers house. Her house was located deep
in Grainger County Tennessee at North side of the
base of Clinch Mountain. It was fun to swing
even on hot August days when we would visit.
Everyone seemed to have more time to listen and
share stories because of that swing. It was a simple
wood slat swing but always seemed to fit right.
That swing is a big reason for the "swing
locations" around our property. It makes a
good excuse for a group of 2 or 3 to find a
destination to walk to and and talk. Being on
the farm is about being relaxed. An old time
wooden swing is just another reason to talk and
relax. Try all the swings when you come.
Enjoy all the views that each swing has to offer.
Walk, Swing and enjoy.
Water...
When spending time at my grandma's house we
occasionally got kicked off the swing by adults and
were forced to play elsewhere. Well that many
times brought us to water. Next to my
grandparents house ran 2 creeks that converged right
in front of the house. A great thing to do was
to wade in the creek and try to catch crawdads. No I
must admit that my arch rival cousin Kim was better
at this than I. Noting she had more practice
since she lived nearby.
I tell you this story of childhood summer fun for
a purpose. Our farm has a great two and a half
acre pond when it's full. I love to watch
children in the early summer try to catch tadpoles.
This brings back fond memories of my childhood.
One great thing about our pond is that is very
shallow, about 3 plus feet when full. And you
have to go a long way to get that deep. This
means its a great safe place for kids to play and
wade.
A couple of years ago we added a zip line to the
pond. It is mounted about 12 feet in the air
on the hill above the pond. In just a few
seconds you are over the water and yelling YEE HAW
and splashing down in our pond.
What lurks in those waters? Why fish of
course. We are loaded down with catfish and
have some large mouth bass, bluegill and goldfish.
We offer fishing at some venues and you are sure if
it is morning or evening to catch a large catfish in
the pond. Sizes of the catfish range from 1 to
9+ pounds. We ask that you catch and release
if the hook does not look fatal.
